I originally became an instructor in 2007, and taught for several years. My primary reason for becoming an instructor was because I wanted to share my love of diving and the marine environment with everyone I met. I never honestly thought about making a living at it, but just wanted to share with family and friends. I eventually achieved the rating of Master Scuba Diver Trainer in 2008, and have dove in many different kind of environments. But in the end, I always come back to the reefs I love. Unfortunately, I’m retired now and am not taking any new students. I hope that by creating this website I’ll be able to connect members of the LGBTQIA+ community with dive instructors who care about our people and our environment.
