Community
We are a community of LGBTQIA+ scuba divers that is accepting and a safe place for self-expression. Our purpose is to promote ocean conservation and environmental activism within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Discover Fun and Adventure
There is no joy better than shared joy. Divers frequently begin post-dive sentences with an exclamation of "Did you see that...?" We are astonished everyday by the marine diversity and relate it to our own at a very personal level. Come have fun with us!
Protect the Ocean
Our oceans are the wellspring of life and are suffering from climate change and pollution. We believe that members of the LGBTQIA+ community can be leaders for change. Who better to stand up for those who have no voice than us?

New Dive Buddies

New Dive Locations
Divers, like fishermen, squirrel away their favorite sites and we share that information with our favorite people ‐ you!
New Dockside Friends
Unfortunately, we cannot spend all of our time underwater. But divers are the MOST fun people you’ll ever meet.
Education
Learning about our marine environment makes us better stewards of the ocean. Learning opportunities abound!
Adventure
You cannot argue with the fact that there are some fantastic dive adventure spots out there. Find a buddy to plan your next trip with.
Club Discounts
We are actively looking for local businesses to sponsor our club and offer you the best discounts that they have.
Dive Greater Fort Lauderdale and Beyond
We live next to one of the longest and most diverse barrier reef systems in the world. Many local divers think they have to travel, when the beauty is right outside our door and just off our shore.

Out Scuba believes that better trained divers make safer divers and increases the enjoyment of all participants on any dive. We include any training session(s) on our calendar because it is by an Out Scuba instructor member, offered only to Out Scuba members and includes reduced rates or added benefits you would not get if you registered for the training directly. Out Scuba, however, does not offer training, does not benefit financially from registrations, does not certify divers or instructors, does not vet or approve the instructors, and does not recommend any training or agency to you. If you believe this training will be of benefit to you, we encourage you to contact the organizer and satisfy any questions you have before you sign up.
